Community Energy Champions
Awards are now available from the Community Energy Champions Grant program (CECG) for municipal agencies and nonprofits in Santa Clara County. Grants will support innovative energy efficiency and environmental outreach in targeted communities. The application period closes at 2:00 p.m. on June 14, 2013.

The Silicon Valley Energy Watch first launched the Community Energy Champions Grant program (CECG) in 2010, awarding funding and technical assistance to 16 local agencies. Their missions were to deliver energy efficiency programs to targeted communities across Santa Clara County. The Community Energy Champions Statewide Summit convened on November 9, 2012, to share the innovative methods that the first round of Community Energy Champions used to build energy efficiency awareness and actions in targeted communities throughout the county.

For more information about the grant program, go to Community Energy Champions Grant Program.
